WALT write Q & A

WALT write open ended questions and full answers
Explanation of pictograms

Pictograms were introduced in 1936 at the Berlin Olympic games and the 1948 London games. Pictograms have not stopped yet they are still going. Pictograms are the designs that were based on the Rio 2016 font, which was launched in July 2012 and forms a part of the Rio 2016 brand. The athlete bodies and sports equipment in the pictograms were built from the font’s characters, or part of them, in a continuous stroke, with variations in thickness in order to give the impression of depth. The pebble shapes, which enclose each pictogram, are a characteristic of Rio 2016’s visual language and alter their shape according to the athletes’ different movements, while the pictograms themselves can be produced in a variety of colours.

P.E Reflection

Boccia

Today we played a game of Boccia. Boccia is a game in the Para-Olympics. The aim of the game is to get the colour balls you have close to the jack (The jack is a white ball in the middle of the field) the three closest balls get one point. I was a teacher and each teacher has four people in there team and I played Ceanahlee's team. I think that my team did well because we won 23 to 10 also they were all listening, So at the end we got 5 bonus points.

The muscle that I used was the resourceful muscle because I had to Imagine where to throw the ball so it would be close to the jack.
